Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why can I not see your artistic nude folios?
A. Because unfortunately there have been abuses.

Q. If I email you will you give me the password?
A. No, unless you can prove that you are an artist or a genuine photographer. eg links to websites and such like and you wish to book me for work. Messages such as 'I am a great admirer of your work' or 'I think we have met' will not cut any ice with me and I will not bother to reply.

Q. Can you only be booked for modelling work though your agency(s)?
A. No you can contact me via my website. Please note that I rarely do TF and only with photographers whose work is of the highest standard and will benefit my portfolio. If you are a beginner offering TF why would I waste my time for poor photographs which I would not want in my portfolio ?

Q. Do you only work in London?
A. No, not at all, I am happy to travel if expenses are covered.

Q. Can I reblog your posts?
A. I am not sure Blogger allows reblogging as such but, sure, you can reblog provided you acknowledge authorship.

Q. Can I use your photos?
A. I do not own the copyright of any of my photos - unless I am the photographer -  so if you use my photos you do so at your peril, especially if you use them for commercial purposes.

Q. How can I access your academic writings?
A. Through academia.edu, follow the link.

Q. How many languages do you speak?
A. A few. I am very fluent in Italian and French, I speak some basic Russian, can get by in Indonesian and am learning German through Duolingo. And obviously, I speak English

Q. Why do you model at your age?
A. Why not?

Q. Don't you have to be at least 5'10 to model?
A. No, you don't. I don't quite make it to an exact 5'8 and many models are as tall or even shorter than me.

Q. Don't you have to be very skinny to model?
A. Nope.

Q. What are your favourite books etc.?
A.  Please don't ask such questions. My tastes keep on changing. But I love Thackeray's  Vanity Fair and this has always been on my list of much-loved books since I  first read it.

Q. What do you do for fitness?
A. I follow a fitness programme called Sleek based on ballet but including mat work. It has been devised by two ballerinas and it works, provided you follow it regularly - and you can do so in the comfort of your home. Otherwise, as a dancer manquée, you will find me in ballet classes (unfortunately beginner to general).

Q. What does the title of your blog mean?
A. It's from Baudrillard: "the real does not efface itself in favour of the imaginary; it effaces itself in favour of the more real than real; the hyperreal. The truer than true; this is simulation". I leave it to you to interpret...
